Arson Offense Rate
Illinois Uniform Crime Reports (I-UCR) Arson offenses reported to police for calendar years 2000 through 2008. Arson is the willful or malicious burning or attempt to burn, with or without intent to defraud, a dwelling house, public building or any building, motor vehicle, aircraft, or personal property of another. Numbers include attempted arson. Rates are per 100,000 people using total county populations.
