DMH Treatment Admissions Rate

Department of Mental Health Treatment Admissions are admissions into a state-operated forensic hospital for individuals who are deemed “Unfit to Stand Trial" for calendar years 2000-2009. The Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health Services and Forensic Initiatives operates nine hospitals throughout the state and collect these data. Rates are per 100,000 people using total county populations.
