Lisa Castillo is Associate General Counsel for the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority. She provides legal review of federal and state grant proposals and contracts. Ms. Castillo serves as the legal advisor and Open Meetings Act Officer to Adult Redeploy Illinois and Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Council. Prior to joining the Authority, she was an administrative law judge for the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services where she presided over administrative appeals involving child support enforcement and denial of benefits from the Bureau for Maternal and Infant Health, All Kids, Breast and Cervical Cancer Program, Health Benefits for Workers with Disabilities, supportive living facilities, and home and community based services. Ms. Castillo was a Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney from 2003 to 2011.
Ms. Castillo holds a juris doctorate from The John Marshall Law School and bachelor’s degree in marketing and business from DePaul University.
