Controlled Substance Arrest Rate
Illinois Uniform Crime Reports (I-UCR) Controlled Substances Act violation arrests for calendar years 2000 through 2008. Eight crimes related to the manufacture, delivery and possession of a narcotic drug substance or immediate precursor not lawful to be sold over the counter without a prescription, or other pharmaceuticals as determined by federal or state law are included. Arrests for these crimes are all considered felonies in Illinois. Rates are per 100,000 people using total county populations. Springfield Police Department did not report arrest data for 2001.
